Q: Is there a charge for a cosmetic consultation?

A: Our cosmetic consultation fee with Dr. Glatt is $250.00 applicable to your balance when you proceed with surgery. The consultation fee to see our Nurse is $100.00 and is also applicable to your balance when you proceed with an injectable treatment such as Botox, fillers, or Kybella.

Q: Do you perform surgery in your office?

A: In order to ensure the highest level of safety and care of our patients, all surgery is performed in a hospital setting at either Morristown Medical Center or St. Barnabas Medical Center, both local, fully accredited hospitals.

Q: Do you accept credit cards or offer financing?

A: For your convenience, our office accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also offer Care Credit, a healthcare credit card, which offers the option of monthly payments and special financing options for the surgical fee only, as well as Prosper Healthcare Lending which allows you to finance the surgical fee, hospital and anesthesia fees and any ancillary charges you may incur related to your procedure.

Q: How long do I have to wait to have surgery?

A: Surgery is generally scheduled four to six weeks in advance, however as the surgery schedule allows it might be sooner or longer.

Q: What days does Dr. Glatt perform surgery?

A: Dr. Glatt performs surgery all day on Wednesdays and Fridays, with other days added as needed.

Q: Will I come to the office again before my surgery?

A: Every surgical patient will have a pre-operative appointment or phone call, dependent upon the type of surgery scheduled. During this appointment your planned surgery will be discussed in further detail and any questions you have will be answered. In addition, you will receive all postoperative prescriptions as well as all postoperative instructions in advance of your surgery. There is no additional fee for the pre-operative appointment.

Q: What do I need to do to prepare for my surgery and recovery?

A: You will be sent information prior to your procedure to help you be as well prepared as possible. Included are a list of medications and supplements to avoid prior to surgery, an outline of what to expect following your procedure and other information to minimize your recovery time and maximize your results.

Q: Will I need to take medication after my surgery?

A: Normally, patients are prescribed an antibiotic, a muscle relaxant, and pain medication, as needed. The prescriptions you may require are highly dependent on the type of surgical procedure you are having. We will provide these prescriptions to you prior to your surgery so you can have the medications available to you when you arrive home after your procedure.

Q: Will I be charged for each visit after my surgery?

A: There is no charge for your post-operative visits. As many visits as may be required are included with your surgical fee.

Q: Should I take any supplements to assist in my healing?

A: For most procedures you will be provided with an herbal supplement containing arnica to help minimize possible bruising and swelling following surgery. There is no additional fee for this supplement.

Q: Will I be required to purchase special garments following my procedure?

A: Any special garment which may be required for your procedure will be provided to you at no additional cost. Typically one garment is provided to you, however if you wish to purchase additional garments this can easily be arranged through our office.
