In a news release yesterday the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Allergan’s Natrelle 410 Highly Cohesive Anatomically Shaped Silicone-Gel Filled breast implant. This approval is for use of the Natrelle 410 implant in both cosmetic breast augmentation cases in women at least 22 years old as well as for breast reconstruction cases in women of any age. The approval of the Natrelle 410 implants will provide yet another option in implant selection for women undergoing breast augmentation or reconstruction.
