We have many exciting announcements to share! First, our entire staff would like to congratulate Dr. Glatt, who was recently unanimously elected as Chief of the Plastic Surgery Section at Morristown Medical Center! This is well deserved honor and we know he will work tirelessly in this endeavor.
Speaking of Dr. Glatt, he will be returning to The Today Show (NBC) with Kathie Lee and Hoda on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 10:00 am! This new segment will feature the “Five Minute Facelift”, utilizing treatment with Juvederm VolumaXC. Dr. Glatt was once again asked to inject patients live during this show.

Is your double chin ruining your photos? There will be many new products and treatments highlighted during our event, including two non-surgical ways to lose your double chin! The first is CoolSculpt’s CoolMini, the latest release from CoolSculpting by Zeltiq, designed to eliminate unwanted fat in smaller areas such as the submental region otherwise known as a double chin. We are proud to be the first practice in the region to offer CoolSculpt’s CoolMini to our patients, and one of the first in the nation!
The CoolSculpt CoolMini applicator works by gently cooling targeted fat cells to induce the body’s natural elimination of these cells. The targeted cells are gone for good, without affecting surrounding areas. CoolSculpt’s CoolMini is also an effective treatment for unwanted fat of the inner and outer knees and the axillary area.
You may have also heard of another non-surgical treatment for excess fullness in the submental area – Kybella, which is administered by a series of injections directly into the fat under the chin. The active ingredient in Kybella is a synthetic (non-human and non-animal) form of a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. Studies have shown that results of treatment with Kybella last at least five years, likely longer, and retreatment is not expected to be needed. Even if one were to gain weight, results have been shown to persist. Dr Glatt demonstrated this cutting edge treatment on The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda in August.
